A few weeks ago my friend Clint and I took his side-by-side or Razor as a lot of people call them for an adventure. We had been wanting to take it out all spring and finally found a time that fit our busy schedules. The ride up was beautiful. The top of the mountain was fogged in and beautiful.
Once we go there we unloaded and hit the trail. Along the way we saw a lot of beautiful wild flowers and a deer who stood on the trail in front us of, observing for a while. Clint took the side-by-side out a month earlier and saw on a bear on the trail but we weren’t so lucky.
When we got the the cabin we grabbed our lunches and did a little exploring. Clint fished for a while as I took photos. He taught me out to fly fish and I almost caught a fish but it started downpouring. Before the downpour we were able to enjoy lunch, wine, and chat about life. The wine was from Yellowstone Cellars and Winery.
I picked a few wild flowers, which I dried and now hang in my kitchen. He started a small little fire for us to enjoy lunch. I am a big zero-waste gal so we brought our own containers and packed in and packed out. Right at the end the rain rolled in and we were soaking wet! My shoes were filled with water! I went home and took the longest, hottest shower of my life. The cabin is super cute though and I would love to go back and stay a night. I think it’s a little too far for walking. Maybe for another adventure like West Bridger Forest Service Cabin.
