Fab Fit Fun Winter Box 2017
I just realized the last time I posted was March 6th! I have had SO many things happen this past month, most of which I can't really talk about... yet! However I have been busy taking pictures so without further ado I will be posting every day this week!
In 2017 I signed up for the Fab Fit Fun boxes. I thought they would be a fun and nice surprise for me now and then. I didn't spend a lot of money when I was in college, grad school, or residency so last year I did a few small things to treat myself. If you don't know what they are, Fab Fit Fun boxes, - you signed up for a subscription, usually yearly, and four times per year you receive a box full of different beauty, fashion, and home decor products.
A posted photos and a price comparison of the Editor's Box I received January of last year. I looked at whether you actually save money buying the products through Fab Fit Fun or if it's cheaper to buy them on your own. The box is definitely cheaper although sometimes you end up with things you don't use.
A full review of what exactly what is in the winter box can be found here. I am too lazy to search for them all and it's silly for me to re-post when that website did a wonderful job of breaking the box down! ;)
This box was the last box after my year subscription. Since I haven't been working I decided not resubscribe. My overall opinion of the box is good. Sometimes there are things in that I wouldn't use and that seems somewhat wasteful. I usually donate or give products the friends that I won't use. However a few of the items in the boxes have become my favorites over the year so I am glad I was exposed to them. One of my favorites is Zoya nail polish. I think I received it on my first box. I love nail polish but it has always seemed so toxic. Zoya however is cleaner and actually lasts longer and doesn't chip as easily.
My favorite things in this box include the coffee mug (I have a mug obsession), the sleepy time pillow spray (a lavender and chamomile spray to help you sleep), the poncho, and the fuzzy socks. As much as I want to use all of the gorgeous beauty sample and products I receive I am the laziest at skin care. I always have the intention of trying things to use them up yet they usually sit in a box. This is especially true about lotions. This box came with a few beauty products and lotions that I plan to set out on my counter to force usage! ;)
Let me know if you have any questions about the boxes. Comment below if you have tried a Fab Fit Fun box or another box you love. I really want to get a zero waste or reuse/reduce/recycle box although I understand that concept is a little backwards ;)
PS my dress is from Brooks Brothers last year. It can be found here but not too many sizes are left.
