Downtown Bozeman, Montana
Sunday my mom and I walked around downtown Bozeman I am trying to get out more with my camera and explore. Growing up in Montana, I always wanted to get as far away as I could. But the bigger the cities, the more I realized how much I missed a smaller town and simpler lifestyle. I can't say I won't ever move to a city again, and of course I plan to travel as much as possible, but for right now I am enjoying Bozeman.
Where: Downtown Bozeman, Montana
When: January 2018
This is Nova Cafe. I've never been but it must be amazing because it's been open since I was in high school, probably before. A lot of businesses, especially restaurants come and go on Main Street but this one has passed the test of time!
There is a cute little park (dog-friendly with "poop stations" for lack of a better word) at the end of Main Street. There is also a Downtown Bozeman directory which is nice if you are looking for something. I tend to get the streets/blocks messed up and I can never remember exactly which one some businesses are on.
One of the few places that was open on Sunday was the Montana Gift Corral. They have everything Montana and "country/western". I was obsessed with the copper mug display and the cute camping set up near the fireplace. Oh and they are super small town nice, which I have missed! When we walked in they offered us coffee and water, which I actually get quite tired and thirsty when I'm shopping. Oh and they have huckleberry everything which is so DELISH! My goal this summer is to make huckleberry ice cream!
Cactus Records is one of my favorites for music, of course, but also for random little knick-knacks. The quote on their website "That place is a weirdo store". If you are looking for a fun, unique gift, check them out! They also sell tickets to most local music events such as concerts.
Finally is the Country Bookshelf which is an independent bookstore! I thought it would be fun to do a little photo shoot in there, seen above! I LOVE books and stationary and they have just about everything. And if they don't have it they will help you get it! It's a dream of mine to write a book, Bri fun fact for the day! Not sure what on but hopefully something will pop into my head!
