Festive Nail Polish Designs for Christmas
Today I am featuring some of my favorite red nail polishes. As I look at my nail polish, most of what I own is red. It's definitely a good go to although the older I get the less I paint my nail and the more I want to be more conservative with my polish, such as a light pink.
I've switched brands over the years, first I used a lot of OPI then I switched to Essie. I finally found a brand I love. Not only is Zoya free of a lot of harmful chemicals, but the polish lasts a lot longer. I used to have to do a base case, two tops coats (letting each dry) then a top coat or my nails wouldn't instantly chip. With Zoya, I fell asleep without doing a top coat and they lasted longer than both OPI or Essie.
The exact colors seen here can be found in my 2016 post! :)
To be honest, I don't think I have painted my nails in a year so I feel sort of fake posting about it. But it's a staple and lot of you might enjoy so I thought I would share. I'm not great at painting so I don't get crazy with designs. I also am a crazy person with my hands so I keep my nails short. Fake nails are nice but you have to soak your fingernail in nail polish removed which seems really bad for you so I refuse to get them done. The alternative is ripping them off and that's gross.
