I thought I was share my holidays drinks but then I realized all my holiday drinks have alcohol in them so then I thought I would share my holiday survival guide! ;) Here are a few of my favorite beverages for the holiday season - you can decide if you want to add a little holiday cheer! ;)
Ok so right as I say that I realize my first drink is alcohol-free. I am one of those unlucky people who gets heartburn VERY easily but I also need caffeine. So I have started making my own Chai Teas at home. I microwave a tea bag in water until it boils, let it sit for like 2-5 minutes, then add sugar (depending), and top if off with half-and-half - not the fat free because it's not as good. I drink 1-2 of these a day and they are my absolute favorite. You can add spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.) if you are feeling creative!
The second drink is a classic...hot cocoa with peppermint Schnapps. I'm lazy and I use the packets of hot cocoa microwaved with warm milk but if you feel like melting chocolate in milk or water, more power to you! I do not like water as much as I like milk in hot cocoa - I'm a skim milk kind of girl!
My last holiday drink is a take on mimosas! Today I went to the spa and received bellini's with my massage. They were extremely good so I decided to stop at the store and buy champagne. I purchase both orange juice and raspberry lemonade because, let's be honest, champagne is good with pretty much any drink!
