Blogmas Day 10 | Charcuterie & Champagne - West Elm

Last week I entered and won tickets to an event at Reno's newly opened West Elm. I follow them on {Instagram} and I LOVE their feed but I had yet to go in the store itself.

The event Charcuterie & Champagne aimed to raise money for Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital! I decided to bring my camera and snap some pictures of the event, both to feature the event and the store itself.

For the event, tickets were $25 in advance and $30 at the door. I took one of my co-workers as my "date" because I won two tickets to the event. We walked in and I was overwhelmed by the gorgeous set up of the store. In addition to a portion of proceeds from purchases that night going St. Jude, their were also raffle tickets available for homemade local products. West Elm does a lot of business with local businesses, which I just love. Each balloon marked a raffle, which you could enter 1 or 20 tickets into! I ended up winning a prize, in addition to other home decor (part of the contest), which I will feature later this month!

This book was one of the raffle prizes. My friend and I were obsessed with it and each entered 2 tickets but we didn't win it. I think it's a mother/daughter duo who makes them and I hope I have the opportunity to buy one someday because they are just amazing! So much detail and beauty.

There were tables of food, all donated by local businesses. The food was to die for, as you can see below! We filled up our glasses with champagne and walked around the store, looking at their beautiful displays, products for sale, and placing our raffle tickets in all of the boxes. Then we grabbed some snacks and chatted. It was an extremely fun and magical night. And like I said, I won (and bought) some gorgeous home decor!!

The rest of the pictures are pictures of their store! I hope you enjoy. If you live in Reno or have a West Elm near you, I would highly recommend you check them out!

How cute is this rock camera?! I didn't buy it at the time, but I think I need to make a trip back and purchase it.

The next two photos weere of my favorite "artsy" pictures. I was trying to practice photography and take unique and inviting shots!

There was an area where you could write letters to Santa. Both me and my friend decided to write the big man a letter! It was so much fun and there was even a mailbox where you could "mail" the letter. Such a great idea around the holidays, especially for parents who bring their kids in.

There were also these adorable postcards "Greets from Reno with Love" and I took one home to hang on my fridge.

My post is not sponsored by West Elm; however, I did get the contact information of the manager and they asked me to photograph some of their private events. I was so flattered and I would be so honored to do this! Now that I am starting to photograph/blog a little more "professionally" I think it's finally time I upgrade and get an adjustable flash for my camera.

Don't forget to check them out on Facebook.
