Now that I'm finally done with school and my pharmacy residency, I've decided to start focusing on myself and my own happiness. I've had some things happen lately that have convinced me that I can be happy but I need to create that happiness. So I started thinking back to happy moments in my life and why they were happy, and I'm going to start getting those things back into my life.
While I was in Boise, I was so busy with work and isolated in my life that I wasn't able to make very many friends. When I was in pharmacy school, I was extremely involved in student organizations and had a huge group of friends. One of the best times in my life was pharmacy school and I think the amazing people in my life had a lot to do with that. I'm going to start getting involved and grow my social network. I refuse to spend another day alone.
One of the things I am most proud of is being a pharmacist. I want to spend the next year honing in on my skills and growing my knowledge. I want to get board certified and challenge myself every day to become in expert in my field.
I LOVE blogging. I love blogging and I love photography. This is a creative outlet for me and it's so needed because my job is so serious. I am blessed with both rational thought and creative tendencies and I need to cultivate both in my life. I want to blog more, improve my photography, and grow my network so I can connect with more people.
Traveling and Exploring
I love new experiences. I love traveling and challenging what I know. Now that I will be work 4 days a week, I will have more time off and with that time, I want to explore and live.
I want to start working on my skills in the kitchen. Before, when I was a college student, I was able to get by eating fast food or yogurt and popcorn for dinner. But now that I am getting older, my taste buds are changing. I want to start eating healthier and becoming a good cook. It's embarrassing to have people over when your food isn't that good. I want to start focusing on my kitchen skills!
One of my biggest goals is to start taking care of myself. I want to get tone. I want to be strong and healthy. And I want to be happy. Working out improves your mood, helps you sleep better, and gives you energy. I'm going to focus on getting in shape!
