Delicious Christmas Mints

I needed to make dessert for a work party, but I wanted something quick and easy, so a co-worker recommended {cream cheese mints}. They were cheap and easy in that they don't have many ingredients, but it took a while to make them into flat balls. I tried to make them pretty after first, but ended up giving up.

Ingredients

1 package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon butter, softened

3 cups powdered sugar

1/4 teaspoon mint or peppermint extract

I made half of them peppermint and the other half almond. I ate a bunch while I was making them and I ended up taking some to work, where a bunch of my co-workers gave me compliments on how good they were, so I would say they were a hit!

Combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and butter in a bowel. I used my hands near the end because it was easier to knead the ingredients.

Mix in the flavoring and make the mints into whatever shape you want! I smashed up candy canes and put them in the peppermint flavored mints to give them more of a Christmas feel!

Let set for a few hours then enjoy. You can refrigerate them if you want to make them the night before!

Tag me on {Instagram} or {Twitter} if you end up making them! I would love to see how they turn out and what you think of them!
